How to Read the DeNiro Size Chart

Having trouble reading the size chart?  We can help. The FIRST thing you need to do is to attain your measurements in CM.  Here is how to do that! 

Now, how do I read the chart?  

Here are my measurements..

Foot: 39

Height: 43 cm

Calf: 35.5 cm

Knee: 33 cm

  • Find your foot size in the top row.

  • In the column located UNDER your foot size, find the height that most closely fits your measured height.  The height is the FIRST number in the series of numbers.  If you are between heights, choose whether you would prefer the boots to be slightly shorter or slightly taller and size up or down accordingly.  In this example, I would be a CORTA or C height.  Corta is abbreviated as C, Medium Corta as MC, Medium Alta as MA, and Alta as A.

  • In the column located UNDER your foot size, find the calf size that most closely corresponds to your measured calf circumference.  The calf size is the SECOND number in the series of numbers.  If you are between calf sizes, choose whether you would prefer the boots to be tighter or looser and size up or down accordingly. In this example, I am a MEDIUM or M calf.

  • In this example, my final size would be a 39/C/M! 
  • The KNEE circumference of a stock size boot will be 2 CM less than the calf circumference.  If your knee does not correspond to this measurement within 1 cm, understand that the knee may be looser or tighter than your actual knee measurement. In the aforementioned example, if my knee were between 33-34, I could comfortably fit into this stock size.  In the aforementioned example, the knee of the stock boot is a little bigger than my 33 cm knee, but I am comfortable with it being slightly larger than my knee circumference.
